interactions between humans and computers

Human beings interface with computers through different means. Even merely watching a computer display and pressing keys on a keypad is a communication. In any event, human-computer communications only attain the level of virtual reality if they are immersive, engaging and sophisticated in nature. Virtual reality is an enveloping computer-fabricated construct within which human beings interface with computer-constructed things in a manner directed by requisite computer intelligence that the interaction seems realistic. The capacity of holographic data systems to read a whole (million bit) page simultaneously pioneers fundamentally different means of data access and searching. With holotechnology data systems, one can contrast configurations of data using parallel processing and associative extraction properties -- searching massive amounts of information to highlight associations. The boundary between holography and robotics may form "holobots" that learn by means of innovative recognition of believable patterns in massive amounts of data. Eventually, optical neural networks may be possible using holotechnology technology. Link to Virtual Life provides further useful information regarding holotech.
